Novel approach to successful removal of right atrial thrombus during percutaneous patent foramen ovale closure

Abstract 

Right atrial thrombus formation during percutaneous PFO closure is a potentially serious complication. We describe such a case where right atrial thrombus was successfully aspirated by a modified large bore catheter.
