The Brugada syndrome (BS) has been recognized as a cause of ventricular fibrillation
(VF) and sudden death [
[1]
]. The appropriate indication for ICD implantation is problematic for asymptomatic
patients or symptomatic patients with syncope or palpitations in the absence of a
history of cardiac arrest. The implantation of an ICD in asymptomatic patients is
proposed in case of positive programmed ventricular stimulation (PVS) during electrophysiologic
testing [

]. However, the usefulness of PVS for risk stratification remains controversial [
