We read with interest the short communication published in the International Journal
of Cardiology by Constantin-Cristian Topriceanu et al. that investigates the role
of disopyramide in the treatment of left ventricular outflow tract obstruction in
children with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy [

]. However, we noted an error in the spelling of the term “myectomy”. We believe it
is important to address this error as it could potentially lead to confusion among
